F9 star John Cena issues apology to China for calling Taiwan its personal nation

The skilled wrestler and actor John Cena had landed himself in a controversy. John Cena described Taiwan as a nation in a promotional video for the newest Quick and Livid movie. After dealing with backlash on social media he issued an apology on the Weibo platform. Within the video message, John Cena requested for forgiveness from the Chinese language individuals.

“I did many, many interviews for Quick & Livid 9, and I made a mistake throughout an interview,” Cena stated within the video, with out repeating the controversial time period.

“I have to say, which is very very necessary, that I like and respect China and Chinese language individuals. I am very, very sorry for my mistake. I apologize.”, He added.

For the unversed, whereas speaking to Taiwanese broadcaster TBVS, John Cena had talked about how Taiwan can be the primary ‘nation’ that will give you the chance to watch his newest motion flick’s ninth installment of the Quick and Livid. His feedback sparked a direct backlash in China as China considers Taiwan to be a a part of Mainland China. Taiwan is a self-governed island state separated from mainland China by the Taiwan Strait. Beijing opposes the suggestion Taiwan is an impartial state.
