Hariharan On Scoring Music For ‘No Means No’: “It Was Quite A Struggle To Fuse The Two Genres”

Nationwide Award-winning singer Hariharan alongside along with his son Akshay Hariharan, has scored the music of the upcoming movie ‘No Means No’. Their strategy for the music was to mix Indian classical and digital music.

Speaking in regards to the movie, Hariharan mentioned, “It’s a global Indo-Polish movie and is directed by Vikash Verma. The lead function is performed by Dhruv Verma. I noticed the trailer of this movie. It’s actually superb. I, and my son Akshay Hariharan, have executed the music for the film.”

Hariharan additional said, “It’s a fusion type of music. There’s plenty of digital music made by Akshay. He creates a singular mix between Indian classical music and digital music, managing to seek out good combos with devices equivalent to sarangi, desk, flute and guitar with new age digital music.”

“He has an arsenal of tracks and it was fairly a battle to fuse the 2 genres. It was actually fascinating and we cherished working on this movie”, Hariharan concluded.
