Warships return after Tauktae mission | India News – Times of India

MUMBAI: The six Indian Navy warships – INS Kochi, Kolkata, Betwa, Beas, Teg and Talwar – which had been half of the search and rescue operations for Barge Papaa (P-305) have sailed again to Naval Dock up to now two days after they rescued 188 personnel and recovered 70 our bodies of P-305 crew members. The barge sank round 70 km off Mumbai on Might 17 within the wake of cyclone Tauktae.
On Monday, the catamaran survey vessel INS Makar, together with patrolling vessel INS Tarasa, returned to the harbor whereas INS Subhadra will proceed patrolling. The Navy has now handed over the search operation to the Indian Coast Guard.
In accordance with the lacking individuals file, the Navy has recovered 70 our bodies of P-305 personnel.
