Tamulpur MLA Leho Ram Boro died of Covid 19 on Saturday morning at Gauhati Medical College (GMCH).
The report was verified by Bodoland Territorial Council, Chief Executive Officer (CEM) and Pramod Boro, Chairman of the Liberal People’s Party (UPPL).
Guwahati: On the other hand, the UUPL leader and Tamulpur MLA succeeded Covid-19 in GMCH at 9:05 am today morning in a very sad news for the Assam Political Family. After positive tests for virus the politician was treated in the hospital.
Leho Ram Boro won the United People’s Liberal Party (UPPL) 2021 Assam Assembly election.
Pramod Boro told on his Facebook page: “Today we have lost our beloved Tamulpur LAC Shri Lehoram Boro.”
“The unexpected loss of the Tamulpur area and the UPPL family is a major loss. He has dedicated much of his life to developing and elevating the region,” Boro said.

0The CEM added that the MLA experienced a stroke while his treatment in GMCH for Covid19.
“He got a stroke and died in a hospital while he was treated with GMCH,” said Boro.
“There is tranquilly for his spirit and always remain in the celestial dwelling,” he continued.
On the day of Leho Ram Boro death, many state officials paid their tributes to the leader. After having a stroke, Lehuram Boro was admitted to the hospital on the night of May 27th. It’s worth noting that the politician’s Covid-19 test came back positive on the same day he had a stroke.
